Taytay Tiangge Haul

Scroll down for my TAYTAY Try-on HAUL video

If you think you're already lucky enough to score a P150 top at a bazaar, think again. There's a place where you can actually get your OOTDs for a cheaper price. I'm talking P65-P90 per piece. No, they are not pre-loved or ukay-ukay, they are definitely brand new. Have you heard of Taytay tiangge? I bet some of you already have.

They are cheaper because they manufacture the clothes themselves. Taytay is known as the Garment Capital of the Philippines, that's why. Surprisingly, what you see in bazaars are almost (if not exactly) the same as what they sell there. In case you are wondering, yes, they are cheaper than Divisoria. From pambahays to formal and party dresses, name it they, most likely, have it.

Here are 5 TIPS I can give to first timers like me, hoping this will save you some time and effort upon visiting the place.

TIP NO. 1 : Bring an eco bag.
Please do not forget to bring an eco bag. They use plastics to store whatever you are planning to buy and I'm guessing you're just going to throw the plastics away when you get home. We already have a lot of plastic wastes and all of these end up in the ocean, so you get what I mean? Haha! (This is me trying to save the world from too many plastics!) Again, please do not forget! Love lots, Ocean Lover ♥

TIP NO. 2 : For other designs or prints, check the tables.
Our tendency is to check out the hanging displays. If, for instance, you find a style you like but the print is somewhat off, check their table for other designs and prints. They will tell you anyway if the display is their last stock.

Reminder: Always double check for stains or damages.

TIP NO. 3 : Take your girl friends with you.
Buying three or more items will save you money because you'll be able to avail of the wholesale price, which are 10 to 20 pesos cheaper than the retail price. You wouldn't want to miss a good discount, right?

TIP NO. 4 : If it catches your attention, go ahead and buy it!
I know what you're thinking! There might be of the same item but cheaper, let's go ahead and search some more. Stop! You'll just waste time and effort because most of the stalls there have the same prices.

TIP NO. 5 : Always check their schedules.
Avoid going home empty handed just because you went there on the wrong day and time. They have this bagsakan schedule - it's the best time to visit Taytay because that's when you'll be able to score their new items.

Best schedule to go (bagsakan):
From 5PM of Monday to 3PM of Tuesday
From 5PM of Thursday to 3PM of Friday

Bonus Tips
• Bring water
Fast foods are available a few distance away from the tiangge. McDo and Jollibee are open for 24 hrs. There's 7-Eleven, too.

HOW TO GET THERE?
We rode a jeepney with Angono, Binangonan signage. These can be found beside Alimall and SM Cubao (they pass along P. Tuazon). Tell the driver to drop you off at Club Manila East. The tiangges are on the right side of the road.

Enjoy shopping! Go hit this tiangge before it's too late. P.S. Holiday rush!

P.S P.S - Thanks to Neil for accompanying me ♥
