#IAmUrbanBrave

I have been into blogging for quite a while, so I suddenly decided to step up my game by making a Youtube account. Part of the videos I love to showcase in my channel are chic but comfy styles which are not so heavy on the pocket. So, basically, I like to do try-on hauls wherein I show my viewers how the clothes look when worn. As I take videos now for vlogging as much as I take photos for blogging, I need to bring quite a lot of items and equipment with me to pursue my passion.

Just recently, Neil, my boyfriend slash supportive insta-grapher (coined this term for instant Instagram photographer), went to Nuvali to film a try-on haul video. The blogger/ vlogger essentials to brave that hectic weekend were my tripod and gorilla pod, my mirrorless camera, my laptop, and my trusty backpack which houses all of the things I just listed. Not to mention, I had to bring a number of clothes, which I need to change into, for the shoot.

First outfit, first location.
Second outfit, next location.
Third outfit, next location.

Juggling through work and passion is admittedly hard, but I'm not giving up just yet. In fact, I am currently in search of the perfect backpack, which I can use on weekdays, for my day job, and on weekends, for my passion projects. I need something which has a lot of compartment, so I can organize my belongings. I'm so glad to have found Urbanize, a shop which caters a lot of products for the urban fashionista in me. Not only do they have the the essentials I'm searching for, they also have something for every style, whether that is smart, corporate, or street.

Top 5 Urbanize must-have items:

1. Hellolulu

Hellolulu's items ranges from mobile pouches, laptop sleeves to camera bags. They have fashion-friendly designs which are not only pleasing to the eyes but are also highly functional. Aside from that, they have a wide variety of colors to choose from.

My personal choice is their Poplar camera bag in Navy because its bottom-half storage is dedicated for the camera (lenses, body, flash, and the like). It also has a large, back compartment that can house my laptop. The wide top opening and the zipped pockets are perfect for my clothes and beauty kits (every girl needs to retouch). It is also fully padded, so I won't have to worry how my gadgets are doing inside my bag during long MRT commutes wherein it's normal to get squished every single day. No kidding!

2. HydraPak

Hydrapak is the new way to rehydrate. Aside from the obvious fact that it come in bright and trendy colors, it also brings convenience to every urban adventurer. To brave this summer heat, one can store up to 1L of water in this container, enough to last all day.
I find this very useful because, most of the time, I bring a water bottle with me. However, sometimes I find it a hassle because it's too bulky that it uses too much space in my bag, even when it's already empty. This is where HydraPak Stash comes in. My personal choice is the one in Malibu, well, the odd was indeed in my favor because it comes in my favorite color. It is also collapsible which solves my problem with hard bottles. With it's great feature, I didn't even think it can store up to 1L of water, but it can. How cool is that? I wouldn't mind filming in this intense summer heat because I can endure it, now that I found the perfect water bottle for me. Plus, I can even take it to airports because I can easily store it in my bag, then fill it up after passing the security.

3. AEVOR

So, this third must-have item might give you a shock as well, because guess what this bag is made of! 50% of its outer fabric are made from recycled PET bottles. Not only did they bring style and quality together, they also helped the environment become more livable through recycling.
My personal choice, because it definitely fits my style, is their daypack in Mint Coral. So, here comes the amazing feature, because it's outer material is made of 50% PET bottles, this daypack is water-repellant. It's capacity is perfect for my daily commute to office because with it's maximum capacity of 28L, I can store inside my laptop, and extra shirt, my lunch box and notebooks (I love notebooks, you know). The laptop compartment is fully-padded and shock-proof, hence that expensive gadget is perfectly safe in this daypack. The careless in me is rejoicing! Not to mention, it has an air-flow backpanel, made for every brave commuter who has to endure long walks and MRT rides every single day.

4. CabinZero

From the name itself, CabinZero is every jet-setters companion. It can carry up to 44L but it isn't as heavy, so no need to worry about taking it as a hand carry during flights.  Aside from that, it can fit perfectly in the overhead compartment, hence its name. Genius, right? As what the founder said, cabin sized = zero hassles.
As for my personal choice, it's non other than this Classic one in Samui Blue. The name might be different but the shade of the color is definitely just like my chosen HydraPak (scroll up again, please). So yes, this one fits my style. Of course, I love the fact that I can carry it in three different ways, because it has the usual straps at the back plus the handles on top and on the side; whichever I deem comfortable when I'm braving my daily adventure. I find the buckles on both sides very securing. You know what they say, you're undoubtedly in Manila when you find people whose backpacks are in front instead of at the back. With this one, I don't have to worry using it as a real backpack, because it will definitely take thieves longer to figure it out. Don't they dare! Haha! Plus, with its capacity, I can take it with me during weekend shoots and travels, with my clothes and equipment intact.

5. Urbanize

Aside from carrying other brands, Urbanize also has their own brand which is great for the daily urban adventurer who faces the everyday traffic. Their products are the solution to every city residents' woes. Their bags can store and organize all those office essentials without compromising comfort and style.
The Urbanize Flattop Backpack in Dark Red definitely caught my attention, because of its simple yet classy design. I love the fact that it has accessible side pockets wherein I can put my lose coins or other small items which I need to grab easily. It also has an inner storage dedicated for my laptop, which is a must-have for an office girl/ blogger/ vlogger like me. The main compartment is huge enough to house my necessities. Another feature I like with this particular backpack is the fact that whatever I throw inside won't affect it's outer shape. Instead, it still retains it's perfect boxy, flattop shape, so I won't have to worry of misplaced items inside, causing discomfort on my back. Remember, style is useless if it doesn't connote comfort.

There are a lot more I wanted to add, but I think this is enough for now. Urbanize definitely has everything one needs to survive this urban jungle. If you want to know more about the rest of their products, you can visit their website and their Facebook page.
