Foodgasm: Plakafe in Baguio

I'm a sucker for everything old school (not that I'm already old, huh! LOL). There is just something about vintage pieces that gives me all the feels

Well, that was what this newly opened coffee shop in Baguio gave us as well - that odd, familiar feeling.

Taytay Tiangge Haul

Scroll down for my TAYTAY Try-on HAUL video

If you think you're already lucky enough to score a P150 top at a bazaar, think again. There's a place where you can actually get your OOTDs for a cheaper price. I'm talking P65-P90 per piece. No, they are not pre-loved or ukay-ukay, they are definitely brand new. Have you heard of Taytay tiangge? I bet some of you already have.

Foodgasm: Where to Eat in San Juan, La Union

San Juan, La Union offers a lot of good places to eat. You need not to go far because the moment you step out from your hotel, an array of restaurants will already welcome you. The choices are just along the highway, so they are really accessible.

Foodgasm: Fat Cousins' Diner

Sunday is Neil and I's date day because he has a regular job on Saturdays. Last weekend, after helping me wash the car (because I don't want to spend for a car wash. LOL!), we headed to Maginhawa to look for a good place to eat. We took the road heading to EDSA but felt defeated after not finding any appealing restaurants. I'm not very familiar with the place anymore because a lot has changed. So, we drove back to where we came from. Then, something caught our eyes - it has an interesting name with yellow texts written all over the place's exterior. We also noticed it because a car just drove off from its parking lot, so we took that as a sign. Haha!

iBooks and E-Books

Who loves reading? Raise your phone up in the air!

Aside from being a traveler and a hiker, I'm also a bookworm. However, I never really appreciated electronic books, or e-books (iBooks for iOS users) as what we call it, until recently. I joined this group in Facebook (Book Lovers Swap and Sell Site) which gives book lovers like me, a chance to grab pre-loved books for a cheaper price.

D-I-Y: Bubble Hair Color by Etude House

I used to have naturally golden brown hair when I was a kid. No kidding. I even remember being called by our high school head because she thought I had it dyed. Those were the days when Catholic schools strictly prohibit students to color their hair. However, as I grew older my hair started to turn dark brown. I missed my hair's original color, so when I graduated in college, I decided to dye it for the first time.

Staycation: Time to Relax

Have you ever tried Hydrotherapy Spa? Sounds relaxing, right? Luckily, I was able to treat myself to one after a long week of just staying at home and getting bored.

It was my sister’s short break before her summer class starts, when we finally decided to go to Ace Water Spa.  They have a variety of hydrotherapy massages and I swear every one of them is a must-try. Their massages range from soft to moderate to hard.  My favorites were Bubble Bed (soft), Rainfall Acupuncture (moderate) and Water Falls (hard). They also have an area for the kiddos. I tried the Lazy River and I almost fell asleep while floating with the current. So relaxing!
