Friday's 10 Happy Things // 02

Thank God it's Friday and I'm on my 10 happy things again. My second F10HT since I started last week. LOL! It always feels great listing down things that made me smile. Below is what I came up with:

1. Starbucks Treat. Okay. So I'm the oldest among my sibs. There are three of us and the two are still in college. I know I shouldn't be asking my sister to treat me, but hey, she lost our bet. Haha! Therefore, I got myself a hot Peppermint Mocha for free! Thanks, sestra! (I hope she's not reading this though. Haha!)

2. Duterte is finally running for President! Did I say finally? Finally! Oh I said that twice. Sorry, I just can't contain my happiness when I read online that he finally (okay thrice) filed his Certificate of Candidacy.  Hello brighter Philippine future! I'm still a Davaoeña by heart.

3. Free Pitch It! from Blogger Babes. The code to avail the free PDF file of the book was given when we attended the event sponsored by Clozette/ Blogger Babes. I know that was a month ago but I was reading a good book then. Maybe this is the best time to check it out and learn about the basics of blogging and eventually earning from it. I saved $39.00, by the way.

4. Locally Blended Juice Drink (Mangosteenie Miney Mo). Witty, right? I stumbled upon this drink in 7-Eleven while I was looking for a "healthy" breakfast meal. I hope it falls under that category because the other one I bought sure doesn't - it was a hotdog! I suck!

5. Long weekend ahead. Thank you, Mr. Bonifacio. 

6. Payday Friday! (Spending them all to pay my bills. Ouch!)

7. Davao for Christmas. Since it's payday, I was able to book for my round trip ticket to Davao where I always spend my New Year. Neil and I were supposed to spend Christmas at his hometown in Cebu, but due to an unforeseen circumstance (a.k.a. he has work), he won't be home for Christmas. So, I won't be able to go with him and we'll probably end up spending our holidays here in Manila. Other than that, as expected, peak season means thrice the price of the regular fare. Farewell to my salary, it was nice seeing you for a short time.

8. A Second Chance. No, I haven't watched it yet. Neil and I will watch it tomorrow. Can you imagine how much I struggled not to go to the cinema the moment it was released? LOL! But since he told me to wait for him so we can cry together, I decided to give him that chance. Haha! (See? I'm lucky to have him as my boyfriend <3)

9. New Blogspiration. I think she started this F10HT linkup, so I have her to thank for that. Besides, I also love reading her posts. She's just so real, no pretensions, no curated photos and blog posts. I'm definitely a fan now. Check out her blog. Her name is Helga and she loves cats. 

10. New blog header. I hope you noticed. Do you like it? I opted for a simple, black and white look this time.
